This Easter we are bringing a taste of Bordeaux to London! For the month of April we have partnered with fellow French brand, Babelle to create a cocktail menu paired with the four-century-old French traditional delicacy, canelé.
Each cocktail will be served with a matching flavoured canelé, a baked caramelised crust with a soft custardy heart. The talented bar team have created four cocktails, each taking inspiration from Babelle’s most popular flavours; passionfruit, dark chocolate, raspberry and white chocolate and salted caramel.
The menu features:
- The Lili Passion made of mezcal, passion fruit puree and syrup, lemon juice, coriander bitter and an egg white, served in a coupette glass and will come with the Lilikoi canelé, filled with an exotic passion fruit curd and topped with a dark chocolate heart
- Caribbean Butterfly of Kraken rum, Crème de Cacao, Mozart dark chocolate, frangelico and lemon juice served on the rocks with the Quetzal canelé, filled with a luxurious dark chocolate ganache centre with a chocolate butterfly on top
- The Call of Ida with raspberry infused Ketel One, Crème de Framboises, raspberry puree, lime juice and an egg white, paired alongside the Ida canelé, with a raspberry coulis middle topped with a soft white chocolate ganache and fresh raspberry
- Japanese Desert of Nikka All malt, Cherry Heering, lemon juice and cherry syrup served in a short glass with the Azalai canale, filled with a velvety caramel sauce that oozes when bitten into.
The cocktail menu will be served in the bar every day and is the perfect after dinner treat or after work pick me up.
