Ulrika wanted to be an opera singer as a little kid, always singing around the house, fascinated by how beautiful it was. Aged 16 she auditioned for and was accepted into the Stockholm Music Conservatory. Aino Jawo from Icona Pop became a friend on the Stockholm music scene and the pair used to do backing vocals for one another.
